Eddie Beach and Ted Curd, the co-founders of Playas, are both professional goalkeepers whose careers and passions converge to redefine sportswear design.
Together, their insights from the football industry, combined with Eddie’s expertise in sportswear design and Ted’s dedication to continuous growth, fuel PLAYAS’ mission to create gear that bridges performance and identity.
EDDIE
Eddie’s journey began at Southampton FC, where he rose through the ranks before joining Chelsea at 18. He is now on a new adventure at Kilmarnock, looking to build an exciting career for himself in the senior game. Also a seasoned entrepreneur, he launched his first kit brand at just 15 – turning a local team project into a thriving business.
TED
Ted, a Chelsea player since age six, brings elite youth pedigree, having represented England at every age level up to U19. Balancing his on-pitch development with academic ambition, he’s pursuing a Football & Business Management degree while building proficiency in Spanish.
